SOFTACID TECHNICAL BULLETIN:  PRESERVATION OF FISH FOR FISHMEAL PRODUCTION

SoftAcid Aqua E inhibits bacterial growth and delays the degradation of fish. The result is reduced total volatile nitrogen (TVN) and higher value products delivered to the fish-meal factory.

SoftAcid is a range of products consisting of organic acids and modified lignosulphonic acids. The presence of the lignosulphonic acid gives the product its name “Soft”, due to its ability to moderate the aggressive nature of
the organic acids.
